Vans X Papergirl is the latest in café owner James Dridi and partner Jeanne Gutierez’s growing list of collaborations with top fashion brands. It emerged from their desire to make something special for women, and they’ve teamed up with Vans to create perfect polka dot shoes for the entire family.
The Vans X Papergirl Authentic Reissue 44 is inspired by the white Authentic worn by the girl in the Papergirl logo, which sparked the collaboration. Constructed with a simple low top, lace-up profile, this classic shoe’s sturdy canvas uppers are literally a blank canvas the kids can customise - just like they do with crayons on the placemats at Paperboy. The Papergirl polka dot print and logo refresh the insoles and signature rubber waffle outsoles, and the woven Vans logo gets a makeover with the Papergirl font. There are three sets of laces to choose between: white or pink with glow-in-the-dark aglets or Papergirl polka dot.
